Down but not out
Drake won’t be fishing for a while. He went to see his good friend Dr. John Diehr (yep) at the Milpond Animal Hospital in Pinckney, Michigan for some “maintenance work”…surgery.
A wart on his eyelid, a cyst on his lower jaw, rump, and between his toes were all skillfully removed by Dr. Diehr. Everything was benign, but were bothering him, so while he was out we had everything taken care of.
Now for the bad news. He’s got a huge cone on his head. I should have some pictures soon.
He’s got to endure it (and the name “conehead”) for the next 12 days. No fishin’ or playin’ in the water….yikes. I don’t know how he (or we) will endure this, but we’ve got to. Oh well, for now he seems happy walking around the store running into people and things.
