Golden Drake Outdoors continues to grow
Finally some significant progress! Our new front showroom is almost done, folks say they can hardly recognize the place. More inventory arrives daily, soon we will be well stocked with gear/travel bags which everyone needs. The new brand keeps getting rave reviews, and we soon will have several “Golden Drake” branded clothing items as well as glasses, mugs, etc.
We’re starting to see the big, consultive sales we were looking for. You know, folks that come in, get to know and trust us, and tell us “just get me what I need”, whether it’s a kayak system, flyrod setup, or something special order. That’s music to our ears…and we treat that trust very carefully making sure to get our clients exactly what they need - no more, no less.
Anyway, it’s a ton of work…we’re growing this business one customer at a time, one new product category at a time, with just a couple of good people.
